"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

yeah...you can upload more than one at a time, but you always have to go back to the submit page to put in the information for the next "deviation" (or any work you are posting). It can be a bit long and arduous, but it's worth it. If you put any pic into "snapshots" it will automatically be put into your scraps instead of your main gallery.
